One of the most photographed sites in Edinburgh (and that is saying a lot) is the memorial to Scottish author Sir Walter Scott. The gothic style monument is very large and imposing on Princes Street. We have tried different angles on the memorial over the years and this one, from below the similarly styled handrail at the edge of Princes Street Gardens, was taken in May 2007.
