This photo journal, is the first of 2 or 3 journals that I will produce featuring Tanjung Bungah. This one features Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque, the new sea floating mosque in Tanjung Bungah, the first village east of Batu Ferringhi. Completed in 2005, Malaysias first sea floating mosque (better known as the Floating Mosque), was built on the sea along the Straits of Malacca. [The other water mosques in Malaysia, ie in Kuala Terengganu, & in Putrajaya, are built on lakes, not the open sea.]
