This gorgeous spot is nestled at the southern end of town and is in fact a park, which was like a winter wonderland on this day. The Chinese who came to explore for gold in the mid 1800's built and lived in these beaut slate houses. Arrowtown is a 30 minute bus ride from Queenstown and is popular from the gold rush era. Nowadays the streets are adorned with cute cafes, art galleries and lolly shops!
