While visiting Phoenix, AZ one of our friends suggested going to Sedona, about an hour and a half drive to cooler temperatures. Hoping that was true off we went. Ariving in town it wasn't much cooler. We saw a sign for Slide Rock State park noting that Oak Creek ran through. The lure of cool water drew us to the park. Much to our satisfaction the water was cool and there was room to swim and sun bathe. All in all it was a very enjoyable day, The wonderous formations of the red rock cliffs and the quaint town of Sedona was
