Vigan features arguably the finest examples of Spanish colonial architecture in the Philippines. It has remained to be the country's most authentic historical and cultural site with numerous old churches and colonial houses prevalent in the city center, particularly in tke Kamestizoan district.

Most accessable by air travel via Loag Int'l Airport in Ilocos Norte, less than an hour flight, By bus, about eight hours from Manila. The town Vigan is the seat of the provincial government and the capital of the province of Ilocos Sur.
