One of the most beautiful dams in Australia. Lake Argyle is classed at an inland sea, and is the largest dam in Australia. Located 70 km from Kunnunurra and 1127 km from Broome, Lake Argyle is only a few kilometres west of the Northern Territory border. Lake Argyle was formed by building a dam across the Ord River in the Carr-Boyd Ranges southeast of Wyndham.
