I spent five nights of my 2006 Scandinavia trip in Copenhagen where I explored the sites and from which I took a couple day trips. These pictures feature most of the popular destinations in Copenhagen.

Copenhagen was founded in 1167AD, but it did not become Denmark's capital for almost 300 years. Today it is a big city, so the major sightseeing sites are spread out more than in Stockholm and Oslo. Bring your walking shoes.
