If you're planning a trip to Ft. Lauderdale, here's an interesting ride you might enjoy.

The Jungle Queen is an old fashioned riverboat that cruises up and down New River on the intra-coastal waterway . It took us on a 3 hour cruise , past hundreds of waterfront homes and yachts, through downtown Fort Lauderdale and on to a private tropical island, the Jungle Queen Indian Village. We didn't see any Indians on our trip, but there were lots of exotic birds and monkeys and the main attraction, alligator wrestling.

A nice little trip if you have three hours to spare.
