While lunching at North Avenue beach on Friday, August 17, we were able to watch some of the military planes practicing for Chicago's 2007 Air and Water Show.

We were fortunate to see some of the practice demonstrations of Air Force, Marine, Navy and Chicago Police aircraft, including the new F22 Raptor, B52, B1, F15 Eagle, FA18 Hornet, KC130 Hercules Tanker, KC135 Tanker, and the USAF Thunderbird headliners.

Watching the rehersal is neat, but you don't see the whole show, or hear all the details that will be broadcast. ... (more)
