Built on the site of the former Dunes Hotel, the Bellagio opened on October 15th, 1998 and at the time was the most expensive hotel ever built at $1.6 billion. A number of attractions make the Bellagio a must see while in Las Vegas, including the world famous Fountains of Bellagio and the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.
