Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces or name - Longji Ti Tian (龙脊梯田)is located deep in the Guangxi-Zhuang region China. 75km NW of Guilin.

The rice terraces are a natural wonder, a combination of agricultural efficiency, beauty, cleanliness and tranquillity. This place is a definite place for photograher Or those who like mountains and hills The terraces i went is called : "Dazhai". There is another similar terrances nearby name "PingAn Zhai". The Terraces in Dazhai is much better. So i strongly recommended the "Dazhai"

For photographers: the rice fields will be all filled towards end of May, and will turn golden by end Sep so these are the two key dates to remember when planning your trip. It may be possible to ring ahead (use the LP numbers of guesthouses!) before you go and some hostels are happy to ring back or email you when significant photogenic events are about to take place.
