Beautiful... old... history... all this is true in additon to: lots of tourists, hot and lots of trash everywhere. Don't get me wrong. Rome was everything I hoped for (even if we did miss the Cistine Chapel since we tried to go on a Sunday and it was closed). The first two days I was extemely sick and jet lagged, but we met a guy who was a tour guide and he took us on a private tour of the Forums on his day off.
