This is the traditional view of Pudong - the new area of Shanghai - taken from the Bund. This was also the view I had arriving in Shanghai via ferry from Osaka. While the sky on this day was somewhat blue, the four weeks I spent in the cities of China (Hangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing) were mostly characterized by smoggy, hazy, gray skies.
