<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> View of the Vitr&#233;&#39;s old district<br> Normandy picture - Vitr&#233; is placed on a rocky elevation on the river Vilaine, and was a deffensive strong point of the dukedom of Brittany against the kings of France. The castle was built in Romanesque style in the XI century by Robert I of Vitr&#233;, and was enlarged in the XV century by Guy XII of Laval. The Parlament of Brittany refuged in this castle several times during the XV century. </div></nolayer></noembed>
