Giverny is today a village dedicated to the impessionist art and the Monet's memmory. His house, with the splendid gardens that inspired him for paintings so famous as the series on water lilies, is visited by hundreds of tourists everyday. Unfortunately, the visitors cannot see a single original painting of the master, but the house is well conserved and holds many of his personal objects.
