Bulnes is a remote village in Asturias in the Picos de Europa National Park with a permanent population of about 20. The mountain peak Naranjo de Bulnes can be seen after a 10 min. hike. We had planned on hiking an hour to get a better view but our lunch came with a bottle of wine and we drank the whole thing. Access to Bulnes is by an underground funicular (built in 2001) or a 2 1/2 hour hike up from Puente Poncebos.
