The best thing about Berlin was the night life... and the low prices of everything if you could get outside the tourist areas. However, all of the buildings were brand new and therefore modern and strange. Also, the entire city is very spread out with dilapidated buildings in between. It gives the city quite a depressing feel. The Metro was amazing though. Clean, efficeint and huge. If only the US could catch on the this public transit miracle.
