I loved Amsterdam. It has that old Dutch feel to it. The main drawback is the Redlight District and all of the tourists. We hadn't even meant to go to the Redlight District but accidently wondered into it one night and it was a scene I'd rather not been a part of. On the other hand, we had an amazing time with my mother's cousin, Michael, who was nice enough to let us stay with him. We had an amazing dinner and he showed us all around town. One thing to watch out for: the bikers. When you are walking around, they are literally more dangerous than the cars in terms of getting hit. It was a fun place, though; all of the canals are amazing. A boat ride is a must.
