Highbridge, Somerset, England

Highbridge is situated on the edge of the Somerset Levels near the mouth of the River Brue. It grew to importance with the railways, but has suffered with their decline. It is close to Burnham-on-Sea and forms part of the parish of Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge. Allow me to show you around this small market town.

I esp liked the Foley statue & the informative caption. Also liked the old adult school & parish church. I bet the livestock market is an interesting place to be. In this part of the world, it would be bawling cattle... :)
