<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> Frank Foley Statue<br> Towns in Somerset picture - A statue of Frank Foley was put up in Highbridge and unveilied on Sunday 8th May 2005. Frank Foley&#39;s nephew Bill Kelley flew over from Illinois in the USA for the occasion. Born in Highbridge in 1884, Major Frank Foley was an MI6 agent who used his cover as a passport control officer at the British Embassy in Berlin during the 1930s to provide the necessary papers for Jewish people to leave Nazi Germany. The statue was carved from Portland stone by Jonathan Sells and shows Mr Foley signing a visa for a Jewish man, with local buildings such as Highbridge&#39;s clock, the bridge and the old town hall alongside him. </div></nolayer></noembed>
