New Orleans, March 9-12, 2001

I/ve always wanted to see New Orleans, and I/m glad I finally made it thanks to Jeff/s wonderful birthday present to me. We stayed at the Marriott on Canal Street, which I highly recommend. The Marriott is huge and the staff was very helpful.

We took a Garden District walking tour, which started at the Pontchartrain Hotel on St. Charles Ave. We saw many beautiful homes, including Anne Rice/s on First St. Her home is the model she used as the Mayfair home in her witches/ series. ... (more)
