Halley's comet 09/12/85. 10min exp at f2.8 through 135mm lens. A note from my observing record for that night said 'Very bright through the 10", easy in binocs, almost visible to the naked eye'. The famous comet was never very bright and had very little tail. It was however, visible over quite a long period in 1984/5.
