In the Picos de Europa National Park is the area of Fuente De. Taking the funicular up the mountain 2,470 feet (753 meters) put us right near the large mountains and hiking trails. There is Parador hotel at the base of the mountain. Hotel de Aliva is at the top after a 40 minute hike. We left Celorio on the coast where it was cool and misty to be met by clear skies in the mountains. Beautiful!
