Prairie Dog<br> United States picture - Thre were quite a lot of prairie dog towns in both TRNP and in Yellowstone. Most of the time, I could not get close enough to them to get a recognizable photo. Usually, as anyone approached, they'd give a little alarm squeek and dive into their burrows. This little guy must be an exhibionist because he let me and others get within about 10 feet of him.
