The Malaysian-German Society has been organising OKTOBERFEST since 1973 and the event has become one of the biggest Oktoberfest events in Malaysia with more than 1000 members and guests participated in 2006 & 2007. This year Oktoberfest was held on 20th October, 2007 in a huge covered tent in line with the Bavarian tradition, whether rain or shine the celebration could go on with unabated fervour.
