Badlands and Rushmore, Crazy horse.
by
Joan
Our first visit to the National parks started in the Badlands, fascinating peaks and valleys odd delicately banded colours, altering in the light. Peaks, gullies and buttes across the wide prairies, an undescribable mystery.

Beautiful
What a beautiful set of photographs. The way you've captured the colours is superb. I really liked the mountain goat with the four Presidents. Quite ghostly. What a huge engineering project for the Crazy Horse Memorial. Thank you Joan for an excellant article. Tony from England.
