I had the opportunity to visit Himachal Pradesh, a lovely Himalayan state of India in 2004 with my brother-in-law. Kinnaur is the most beautiful district of Himachal Pradesh with the Kinnaur Kailash range running through it. Kalpa is a small lovely village near Rekong Peo, the capital of Kinnaur Kailash district. Buses are available from Shimla and it takes 10 hours to reach Rekong Peo. Kalpa has the most stupendous settings in probably all of Himachal Pradesh.
