Barton St. David, Somerset, England

Barton St. David is a quite, peaceful village in the central part of Somerset. It lies about 25 miles from the Somerset coast and about 33 miles from the Dorset coast. It is ideally situated in beautiful countryside for a pleasant, relaxing break to go walking, cycling, fishing or bird watching.

Barton St David
Hello Tony, Many thanks for your wonderful pix re Church of St.David. All of the pix illustrate the stunning beauty of the church and the village its self . I was also hoping that you may have pix of The Independant Chapel of Ebenezer at Barton St David. This Chapel was built by my ancestor and a cohort of independant dissenters. How nice it would have been to find pix of what is saddly , now a private residence. I have searched for pix and info of the chapel. But have failed to even find a lead , let alone a pix . Anyway, again many thanks for your efforts , as the Ozzies say , ' Ya Bloods worth Bottlin' re your interest and dedicating in this area of photography and the pleasure it gives researchers into their ancestry .
