Vancouver’s Chinatown is known to be one of North America's cleanest, modern day Chinatowns. Unlike San Francisco, which is noted for its Chinatown, Vancouver’s Chinatown is very small with no night life. It is mostly a market place for the Oriental population which is scattered around the area. In fact, Vancouver's Oriental population is larger than that of San Francisco which is concentrated in their Chinatown.
