Wales: Bob Scott took this picture of the beautiful designed ceiling, and once you visited the Cathedral you feel that whatever your faith, whatever your beliefs, this ancient collection of bricks and mortar houses more than just bones and relics, it houses the echoes offered in prayer, meditation, devotion and contemplation, by people who have found peace on this small sanctified part of Wales for over a thousand years. While I noticed many visitors throng to the cathedral to take in the architecture and savour its unique atmosphere, remember while you walk amongst these ancient halls that the church, this ancient cathedral, is a living part of a greater community of faith, extending far beyond St David and beyond any man made national border. This is the home of Wales' patron saint, a symbol of national unity and independence; it is the home of Welsh Chris.
