<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> The Bottom of the Chapel of St. Edward.<br> Attractions &#38; Amusements in Wales picture - Wales: Bob Scott took this picture where you could see the bottom of the Chapel of St Edward the Confessor that was reroofed in the early part of the twentieth century. It fallen into disrepair after Parliamentary soldiers were ordered to strip the lead from the cathedral roof in 1648. The chapel contains an altar and fittings in alabaster and is the resting place of the Countess of Maidstone on the left side who funded the restoration of the south aisle and chapel. </div></nolayer></noembed>
