Meganissi is a small Greek island, a short distance off the east coast of Lefkas (Lefkada) and just below Skorpios, the island owned by the Onassis family. We travelled to Meganissi on a one week package holiday with Ionian Island Holidays, staying in the lovely Villa Sgouri which is up above the port of Vathi, amongst the olive groves. The weather was perfect, right up until the morning we left, when it clouded up and rained. A very peaceful week was spent exploring the little island, walking and relaxing on the pebble or shingle beaches or by the pool.
