Encarnación is called la capital paraguaya de carnaval. I think, it deserved that name. I took the pics on the evening and night of February 10th, 2006 and the very first hours of the next day. The event, full of baile y alegría, took 5 ½ hours. The carnival mood affects everybody: men and women, old and young, poor and rich people. Carnival is something difficult to describe with words.
