For my August September leave, I trekked my way back to Colombia, Bogotá and Medellin for a well deserved (its true!!) rest after 7 weeks in Baghdad Iraq. It was great to be back, and I knew that I would also be planning my first trip to Ecuador, to the south of Colombia. The primary reasons for going were to touch up on my Spanish, as they have great courses there, and to explore the country which I had not yet visited, yet had heard a lot about (good things!!).
