Fall Foliage at Oil City State Park, located in Oil City, Pennsylvania. Oil City is north of Pittsburgh and a little south of Erie. My wife & I spent several hours hiking around the park, which is located in Venango County, on October 21, 2007, admiring the impressive foliage as the trees turned yellow, red, and orange. Oil City was the place where on August 28, 1859, Colonel Edwin Drake struck oil and established the first commercially successful oil well.
