In July we saw this fiesta. The group met in the morning and walked to the forest to find the tallest tree they could find. Later in the day they brought the tree to the square in front of the church and put it into place. In the evening was food, a band and dancing. I am told neighboring towns do the same thing, maybe on a different day, and there is a contest for the tallest tree. Maybe some one who is reading this will know more about this fiesta.
