On Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007 I did a 2 night backpack into the Chesler Park area of the Needles District, Canyonlands NP. The first day was a bit windy and cold but after that the weather cleared for a couple of gorgeous days. After setting up camp on the first day I hiked the 3 mile roundtrip through the Joint Trail, a narrow slot canyon, about a quarter mile long. The next morning I hiked the 6 mile roundtrip to Druid Arch through beautiful Elephant Cyn.
