Sand Sculptures in Brighton by Bob Scott
Art Galleries in Brighton picture - Brighton: All pictures where taken by Bob Scott in Brighton in which ten thousand tons of special sand was shipped from the Holland and deposited in Brighton Marina so that 60 artists from all over the world can recreate the wonders of Ancient Egypt. [We Bob and June including our Son Antony] we went to see the World Sand Sculpture Festival at Black Rock, near Brighton Marina, this was basically lots of really fancy sandcastles built to look like an Ancient Egyptian village, and the highlight being a 50ft pyramid. The Show of the Sand Sculptures festival, in Brighton took place on July 14th to September 11th 2007. Final touches to the sculptures, which include the pyramids, the tombs of Ramses II and Tutankhamen, temples and sphinxes, were being made during the show. Hope that all of you would like the pictures. www.sandsculpturefestival.com
