This is my third and last article on Rio de Janeiro, the Cidade Maravilhosa. This article covers two very famous things about Rio – its beautiful beaches and colourful folklore show. As my hotel was very close to Copacabana and within walking distance to Ipanema, I had easy access to these world famous beaches. Coupled with the nice weather (and it was winter during my visit!), the beaches were busy and full of life day and night.
