Placed on the eastern bank of the lake Tanganika, Mahale is a remote place. You have to fly to the city of Kigoma, and then sail the Tanganika toward the South for five hours to reach Mahale. Watching wild chimps in the mountany and rainy forest of Mahale is a very special experience.
