(Flag Point) This was one of several forts built during the 17th century to withstand attacks by English “sea dogs” during the Spanish domination, and by assorted pirates later. It stands at the entrance to the harbour, and you cross a small drawbridge to enter. It houses a small chapel and a number of interesting displays from the Age of Discovery.
