Costa Rica is a no rules kind of place. People live off the land and do very well. There is a lot of nice people there, and alot of Americans and Canadians living among the Ticos. We were there at Christmas and it just didn/t seem like Christmas at all. There are so many poor people. I/m just glad we knew that before we went, so we packed alot of gifts for them. They were very receptive.
