Guilderton is a little coastal town at the mouth of the Moore River, about 100km north of Perth, stands guard over the wreck of the Dutch ship Gilt Dragon, which foundered on an off-shore reef in 1656.

Recreational fishing is a popular pastime here, either from the beaches or the river.Or you could try the walk trails around the town, walk to the last light house built in Australia (built in 1983), or try a round of golf at the local 9-hole golf course and country club.
