Bruton Railway Station is on the line opened in 1856 between Frome and Yeovil by the Wiltshire, Somerset, and Weymouth Railway. From 1906 it was also linked to Taunton and Exeter and is now operated by First Great Western on the Main Line between London and Plymouth.
