I visited Charleston on a day trip from Savannah while attending a conference there. We hadn't researched the city much and more or less drove up on a lark to check it out. People who we dined with at Mrs. Wilkes' Boarding House in Savannah recommended S.N.O.B. to us and we weren't disappointed. Nor were we disappointed with a whirlwind visit there other than the short duration of our stay. Charleston is oozing with colonial American history and its Preservation Society ensures that its rich history is not forgotten
