I began my 2007 Idaho long weekend getaway with a legstretching hike in the area north of Wallace. I discovered this trail a couple years ago when I took the wrong road north out of town - I realized my mistake when I hit Cooper Pass, but rather than waste more of the day driving, I decided to take one of the trails I found here instead of the one I had planned on.
