An old tradition, as I've been informed, around this area. Raw pieces of dough are put inside a clay recipient and then baked right there on the spot. However, not that easy to find anymore, as this, like many traditions, is disappearing. Mmmmm ... I have to see if she's still making them as they taste wonderful!
