Sightseeing in Berlin picture - The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe consists of several concrete blocks of varying heights standing in parallel rows on uneven ground. As a piece of public art I think it's quite interesting. But I didn't think it worked as a memorial. With people jumping from block to block, kids playing hide and seek among the block, and the minimal signage, and I think that someone who happened upon it would see it more a playground than memorial.
