I began my 2007 Germany trip in Berlin, but during that stay I took an overnight trip into Poland to visit the town where some of my ancestors were from. I could purchase a train ticket from Berlin to the Polish border town of Kostrzyn in Berlin, but the train from Kostrzyn to Pila, my destination, was a local train. After purchasing a ticket to Pila, I had about an hour before my departure so I took a walk around the city center of this small Polish town.
