The "trompe l’oeil" (trick the eye) paintings on the old tower, with convincing illusions of reality, were created by Austin artist Nathan Jenson. And although I didn’t go in, the restroom walls, painted by Joanie Thompson, apparently give new meaning to the term "hand painted". (I must pop in there next time.) If you’re in town, this unique old mill is worth a visit.
